For this years rally we have chosen to cooperate with Dooni Dooni a Norwegian/Danish based charity NGO focusing their work in Kalifabougou, Mali. Dooni Dooni has already provided financial aid to build several schools, supporting agriculture and other self sustaining projects. Dooni Dooni's contributions to the area has already made a huge difference to the people living here, but much work still remains.

Charity goal #1 - Collect 50.000NOK for a new well in Bouablena
Clean water is critical to us humans, and something we often take for granted. In the village of Bouablena, the access to clean water has been an increasing challenge for generations. The large well in the village has now run dry and after hitting rock the villagers are unable to dig any deeper than the current 15 meters. The villagers now have to go two kilometers from the village to collect water that is far from clean from a creek. During the rain reason a a well by the creek provides some filtration of the water. Families that own bicycles or donkey carts use them to transport the water, while the rest are left to carry the water home, often requiring several trips per day.

Charity goal #2 - Collect 40.000NOK for a roof on the Djinidiela School
Dooni-Dooni has started building a school in Djinidiela, but the project is missing 40.000NOK for the roof to be completed.



Charity goal #3 - Collect 10.000NOK for solar cell lighting for two schools
Currently the schools in Kalifabougou depens on natural light, and so does most of the housings on the area. Installing solar powered lights will allow the children to do their homework, even after dark. This also enables to schools to teach night classes, learning adults to read and write.
